Oreo is, for the most part, a very good dog. She doesn't have accidents in the house and only chews on her toys. She is, as most of you know, somewhat spoiled. And I say "somewhat" because really the only rule we've had to set is that she's NOT allowed on the couch. But as you can see in the photos above, she sometimes breaks that rule. Evidence #1 is ususally the pile of black and white fur left behind. Evidence #2 is often a look of guilt followed by a slow motion roll onto her back (which is basically the dog equivalent of a confession). Granted both of those could be attibuted to other things...like Greg or I tracked the fur onto the couch or the look was not of guilt but just being shy. But now we have photographic evidence!
It's rare that you actually catch her in the act since we're ususally gone at work or out running errands when she decides to "rebel". Not really sure at what point she snuck up to cuddle next to Greg, but there she was looking as sweet (and comfy...and a bit guilty) as can be. Then the other evening Greg had gone to run an errand and Oreo must have forgotten I was still home. The look on her face as she slinked off the couch was priceless.
What a turkey!

What a riot! A "knee nest" is Twizzler's favorite place to snuggle in for a snooze, too! It's always the perfect size and shape, plus you're the first to know when that certain someone finally wakes up to start petting you!
