During our 20 week check up, the ultrasound revealed the fun news that we're expecting a baby boy! He actually tried to fool us at first...for about 5 minutes the doctor thought he was a girl: "Looks pretty flat in that area". She proceeded to take various measurements and listen to the healthy heartbeat and was about to finish up when the baby moved...and the umbilical cord moved...to reveal his man parts. I believe her reaction was "Wait a moment...oh...no, that is a boy...definitely a boy...one of his testicles has dropped!" (this will be fun to share when he is 16 ;) ).
He must have heard us saying he was a girl and decided to make sure we didn't leave thinking that and buying him a bunch of girly things. So he's already like his father...a trickster.
